LAWA would like to fill 1 Senior Airport Engineer I in lieu of Senior Airport Engineer II. This position opportunity includes a pay-grade advancement. This position has the primary responsibility performing research, drafting, computing, checking, and field work needed in the preparation and/or supervision of employees engaged in the preparation of plans, designs, profiles, cross sections, alignments, horizontal and vertical curves and other surveying computations, environmental documentations, geotechnical reports, estimates, and specifications for the construction, maintenance, and operation of a wide variety of civil engineering projects. Requirements:

Two years of full-time paid experience with the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) in a class at the level of Civil Engineer in the area of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or communications in the planning, design, communication, construction, commissioning, activation, or facilities/asset management airport/aviation projects or programs; andRegistration as an Engineer with the California State Board Registration for Professional Engineers.
