Scheduler Analyst

Purpose:

Under general supervision, this position performs and manages tasks to assist engineering or management with project or workforce planning and scheduling.

Position Overview

Austin Water is seeking a Scheduler Analyst for the Pipeline Engineering and Operations Support Division (PEOS). This position will perform a combination of office and field tasks. It will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including coordinating and communicating design, construction, operations, and maintenance activities for Austin Water's wastewater collection system. The successful candidate will help PEOS track SSO causes and resolutions. The successful candidate will also take part in AW's SSO response on-call rotation, which will require work outside of normal business hours."

Critical Employee:
This position has been designated as critical for the City of Austin. Critical positions are necessary and support activities that impact City or department operations. Work can be done at a designated work site or an alternate work location. Critical employees may be reassigned to another area to provide essential services during extraordinary situations or emergencies.

Pay Range:

$36.29 - $45.21 per hour

Driving Requirement:
This position requires a Texas Driver’s License in good standing or the ability to acquire one by your hire date. External New Hires must meet the City of Austin's Driver Record Evaluation (DRE) requirements. To be considered for a driving position, applicants cannot have more than three moving violations or a total of six Driver Record Evaluation points within a period of thirty-six (36) months.

All Austin Water worksite locations are tobacco-free .
