Position DescriptionThe DPT Anatomy Adjunct serves as an instructional support role within the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Health Professions. This position is designed for recent program graduates who have demonstrated strong academic performance in anatomical sciences. The adjunct will assist faculty in delivering anatomy-related content, supporting student learning, and facilitating lab-based instruction.
This role supports the program's mission to educate competent, compassionate, and evidence-based providers who improve healthcare outcomes in West Texas and beyond.
Major/Essential Functions- Responsibilities will be serving as an adjunct instructor in the Gross Anatomy and Functional Anatomy courses, specifically assisting with:
- lab organization,
- student instruction, and
- student testing.
- Adjuncts must be available weekday mornings from 8:00 to 12:00 and at least one afternoon on Wednesday or Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00.
Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications- May 2026 graduate of DPT program at TTUHSC.
- Successful completion of HPPT 8500 Gross Anatomy and HPPT 8203 Functional Anatomy while in the DPT program at TTUHSC.
