This is a temporary position working 20-40 hours per week. Position duration is 6 months.

Job Summary/ Objective:

The Watershed Stewardship Manager is responsible for managing the implementation of the County’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program and, as part of this, initiating and executing Capital Improvement Program projects to address Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) pollution reduction requirements. The MS4 Program must be implemented to comply with federal and Virginia stormwater regulations. Responsibilities include developing strategies and plans to maintain compliance, devising and implementing new projects and initiatives. This position involves improving and overseeing processes and procedures, collecting and maintaining data, preparing reports, preparing and managing operating and capital budgets, and applying for and managing grants.

Salary Information:

The hiring range for this position is $40.83 - $45.12 per hour. This position will work 20-40 hours per week, and the assignment will last 6 months.

Remote Work:

This role is not eligible for remote work. On-site presence is required. All County staff must maintain residence within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
