Pay Range: $49.17 - $63.92/hr. | $102,277- $132,959 annual compensation

A Strategic Initiatives Manager job is available with the City of Fort Worth FWLab department's Analytics & Intelligence (A&I) Division. This role leads the Business Strategy & Performance team, made up of three staff plus interns as capacity allows, and serves as the City's central hub for performance management, KPIs, process improvement, business strategy, and strategic initiatives. The Manager partners closely with A&I division's Data Analytics and Database teams, and the Budget and Revenue divisions of the FWLab, along with departments citywide to drive data-driven decision making. Given the enterprise-wide reach of this work, the ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on user of data and AI tools, comfortable building automations or AI agents alongside the Data Analytics & AI team (using tools such as Copilot Studio) without needing to be an AI engineer, and moves easily between strategic thinking, data-driven analysis, and relationship building across a large, complex organization.

Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.
