Love working with animals? Come join our fun and dedicated team! We are a fast paced and busy animal shelter that is currently looking for highly motivated, hardworking individuals to join the Nevada County Animal Shelter team.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Temporary Kennel Attendant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for animals. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care.

Education and Experience Required

Education and Experience Required
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certificate AND three months of experience in a position requiring any combination of public contact, or, in the handling and caring of a large number of animals, or, in custodial or facility cleaning experience (note: private ownership of animals is not considered qualifying experience).
