Summary

Minimum Starting Salary: $80,000.00 annually, depending on qualifications

An organized and experienced project professional to coordinate construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects from planning through completion. You'll join a Public Works team that takes pride in keeping Waco's streets, utilities, watershed, and green spaces maintained and running well - coworkers who care about the details, look out for each other's safety, and want to see the city's investment reflected in the community residents call home.

Job Summary
Under general supervision, plans, organizes, coordinates, and monitors internal construction, maintenance, and infrastructure repair projects performed by City forces and outside contractors on behalf of the Public Works Department. Establishes project objectives, schedules, and performance standards within the boundaries of City policy and contract specifications; manages contractor performance and assures compliance with contract terms; and performs quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks on Department operations and project work. This position works closely with division superintendents, contractors, vendors, and administrative staff to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to City standards.
