SPECIAL SALARY INFORMATION:

Due to the Manpower Shortage Recruitment, new appointments and current incumbents shall be compensated at Step 5 of the applicable salary range. This is in effect until June 30, 2027, or until it is determined that a shortage no longer exists, whichever is sooner.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY:
Certification* in Therapeutic Radiologic Technology issued by the California Department of Public Health's Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).

PHYSICAL CLASS:

3 - Moderate: This class requires that the incumbent stand or walk most of the time with bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching, working on irregular surfaces, occasional lifting of objects weighing over 25 pounds, and frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT INFORMATION:

Documents should show the name of issuing agency, title, date of issuance and expiration of the certification.

EXAMINATION CONTENT:
This examination will consist of an evaluation of experience based upon application information, desirable qualifications and supplemental questionnaire, weighted 100%.
Candidates that achieve a passing score of 70% or higher on the examination will be placed on the eligible register.

ELIGIBILITY AND VACANCY INFORMATION:
Applicants who passed the assessment are placed on a register in the order of their score group for a period of twelve (12) months. Applications will be processed as they are received and added to the register accordingly. We will use this list to fill vacancies in the LA Health Services as they occur.

No person may compete in this examination more than once every twelve (12) months.

AVAILABLE SHIFT:
Appointees may be required to work any shift, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
