Under general direction, the Fatherhood Program Manager leads the planning, coordination, and administration of the Alameda County Fathers Corps, a collaborative initiative that promotes and advocates for father-friendly services and supports fathers and father figures in being meaningfully engaged with their children and families. Working collaboratively with internal and external partners, the position supports program implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement to advance the goals and impact of the Fathers Corps. The position also provides guidance and coordination to program consultants and Fathers Corps members but does not exercise direct supervision of staff.



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. Additional experience and/or education can be substituted to meet typical qualifications. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in program management, administration, and development specific to the program area of assignment and completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a closely related field applicable to the position.

Additional relevant work experience may be substituted to meet the college coursework/bachelor's degree standard.
