Position DescriptionPerforms professional level work at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center by conducting classes on a per-course or limited-term basis, without any guarantee of continuing employment. Responsibilities encompass the coordination and instruction of one or more courses within a prescribed curriculum. Teachers in this classification usually specialize in the academic subject, professional discipline or technical skill being taught at the time of employment. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based upon results obtained. May supervise subordinate employees assigned to area of responsibility.
Major/Essential Functions- Develop, assess, and evaluate student clinical learning activities.
- Participate in simulation-based and in-patient clinical learning experiences with Traditional Undergraduate BSN students, as assigned.
- Participate in classroom activities and proctoring exams, as assigned.
- Establish effective communication with students to facilitate learning.
- Model professional behavior to enhance student role development and socialization.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Demonstrate academic integrity in interactions with students and faculty.
- Various duties as assigned by program.

Required QualificationsMaster's of Science degree in Nursing (MSN)
