The position will end on or before Nov 30, 2025. Permanent status cannot be earned in this grant-funded position. This Temporary appointment can be concluded prior to the stated temporary appointment end date, normally with a two-week notice period. Continuation of this temporary appointment is contingent upon grant funding.

Anticipated Hiring Range

$5,431.00 per month ($65,172.00 annually)

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Position Summary

The College Corps Program Specialist will work closely with the College Corps Program Lead to support the day-to-day operations of the grant-funded #CaliforniansForAll College Corps program, a campus-wide initiative coordinated by the Institute for Civic and Community Engagement (ICCE). The purpose of College Corps @ SF State is to build the next generation of civic leaders by engaging college students in meaningful community service. Through this program, the incumbent will advance three primary goals: engage college students in meaningful service opportunities that build leadership skills and civic responsibility; help students from diverse backgrounds graduate college on time and with less debt; and support the work of community-based organizations focused on key local priorities (K 12 education, food insecurity, and climate action).

The incumbent will be responsible for a cohort of participating fellows and community host organizations, and coordinate all student program activities, including but not limited to promoting the initiative, recruiting students, overseeing processes, training and supporting student fellows, communicating with partner organizations, placing students in community service fellowships, tracking data, maintaining records, and collaborating across the university. The program specialist ensures grant goals and requirements are met regarding the student experience, community partner engagement, and campus participation, as well as supporting the mission, vision, and principles of practice of ICCE.
