Job Location: This position will be located at 3216-3218 Emerald Lane, Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

The Deaf Community Advocate position is responsible for training, awareness, and advocacy across the state for both private and public agencies. Training will cover issues included but not limited to ADA law and suggestions, Communication access, ASL and Sign Language, Deaf Culture, and Hearing Loss and Aids. The position will also provide direct and coordinated advocacy on an as needed basis to individuals seeking assistance in self-advocacy and support when accessing or utilizing programs and services in their communities throughout the state of Missouri.
