The eligible list established from this recruitment may remain in effect for six (6) months.Minimum QualificationsLicense Required: All candidates must possess a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s license. Out-of-state valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License will be accepted during the application process.
Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business or Public Administration, Social or Behavioral Sciences or a closely related field.
Experience: Five (5) years of full-time working for a federally funded Head Start Program. Two (2) years of required experience must have been at the supervisory or management level. Depending on the position(s) to be filled, qualifying experience may be limited to experience directly related to the assignment as specified on the job announcement.
Desirable Qualifications:- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in strategic planning
- Mastery of computer applications for data analysis and reporting
Selection ProcessApplication Filing: Applicants will be required to complete a supplemental questionnaire at the time of application, applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward in the next phase of the recruitment process.
Online Virtual Interview : Candidates who possess the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in an online interview. In the oral interview, candidates must achieve an average passing score of 70% or higher on each of the oral interview competencies, as well as an overall passing score of 70% or higher. The interview will measure candidates' competencies as they relate to the EHS Division Manager position. These may include, but are not limited to: Delivering Results, Professional Integrity & Ethics, Managing & Facilitating Change, and Coaching & Developing Others. (
Weighted 100%) The online interview will be administered remotely using a computer or mobile device such as a tablet. You will need access to a reliable internet connection to participate in the online interview, as well as computer or mobile device with a camera.
