The Missouri Department of Agriculture, Grain Inspection and Warehousing Division has part-time Grain Sampler/Technician positions open in the Kansas City, MO area. Employees in this position are expected to have reliable transportation to the office in Raytown but will have access to a state vehicle for transportation to work sites from there.

Employees in this position serve a critical front-line role in the foundation of Missouri’s grain market. Employees inspect carriers prior to loading of grain, obtain grain samples and perform basic technician functions in order to aid in establishing the value of that grain. The work of this position is primarily in the field (at grain loading sites), but does have some in-office duties.

If applicable, this relationship must be disclosed prior to hire.

This is a part time non-benefited position.
