This position will supervise multiple section heads within the Division of Probation & Parole Central Office to include the Administrative Coordinator, Community Corrections Administrator, and Arrest Program Administrator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: directing administrative services statewide such as budget, planning, accounting, leases, contracts, policy/procedure compliance, equipment and supply provision, and oversight of any active bargaining unit agreements. The incumbent will work closely with administrators throughout the division, other state agencies, and be a primary point of contact for senior officials department wide. Effective planning, implementation, and management of the division's budget and allocation of resources is a key component of this position. The incumbent will exercise a high level of independent judgement and discretion in all matters described and will report to the Division Director.
Minimum Qualifications: This position requires four or more years of professional experience in a management or supervisory capacity. Applicants shall submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional references with their application.

Some positions are eligible for a shift differential of $173.34 semi-monthly, which is provided to employees with shifts that begin on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am, and who work at a 24/7 worksite (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center), or whose work requires regular visits to these locations. If selected for interview, eligibility may be discussed at that time with the hiring manager.
The Department of Corrections is the only State agency that currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of service up to 20 years.
