Job Location: Staff Development Training Specialist for St. Louis Developmental Disabilities Treatment Centers Monthly Salary: $4,339.80 Apply by February 6, 2025 St. Louis Developmental Disabilities Treatment Centers (SLDDTC) is currently recruiting to fill a Staff Development Training Specialist position which will be responsible for teaching management classes for both SLDDTC and BHC as well as assisting with SLDDTC CORE classes including but not limited to CPR and Advanced Safety Care. SLDDTC is a 24-hour residential care facility that provides medical, behavioral and habilitation support to individuals who require more intensive supports than those provided in the community. This position will be domiciled at South County Habilitation Center ( 2312 Lemay Ferry Road; St. Louis, MO 63125 ); however, travel between South County, St. Charles, and Bellefontaine Habilitation Centers will be a requirement. The working hours for this position will be 10:00am - 6:30pm and the regular days off will be Sunday/Saturday and holidays. Please note that the successful candidate must be available to work a flexible work schedule as needed.

What you’ll do: This is a specialized professional training and development position accountable for developing and delivering training programs, administering assessments and certification requirements, providing coaching, and ensuring knowledge transfer. Employees train personnel in areas such as professional development, supervisory and managerial training, e-learning, and continuous improvement, using established educational requirements and job specific procedures and policies. Employees are responsible for short to medium term objectives and outcomes and performs assignments under the general guidance and advice of a more experienced staff member or supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:Two to four years relevant experience.
(24 earned graduate credit hours from an accredited college or university in the specified areas may substitute for one year of required experience).
