The PositionBargaining Unit: Local 21 - Non-Supervisory Management Contra Costa County is recruiting to fill one (1) Aging and Adult Services Staff Assistant vacancy in the Employment and Human Services Department.

- Managing invoices, expenses, and other financial tasks with accuracy

Minimum QualificationsLicensed Required: Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Out of State valid Motor Vehicle Operator's will be accepted during the application process.
Experience: Eighteen months of full-time experience or its equivalent in an administrative position in a public or private human services agency program providing services to adults or the elderly, or as a program supervisor in a public or private human services agency.
AND Education : Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in business or public administration, social work, gerontology, social or behavioral sciences or a closely related field.
Desirable Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience in a government or public sector setting
- Proficiency with office software and database management
- Experience working with older adults
- Knowledge of basic financial and budgeting practices
- Experience with customer service or public relations
- Bilingual abilities for enhanced client communication

Online Virtual Interview : Candidates who possess the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in an online interview. In the oral interview, candidates must achieve an average passing score of 70% or higher on each of the oral interview competencies, as well as an overall passing score of 70% or higher. The interview will measure candidates' competencies as they relate to the Aging and Adult Services Staff Assistant position
( Weighted 100%) The online interview will be administered remotely using a computer or mobile device such as a tablet. You will need access to a reliable internet connection to participate in the online interview, as well as computer or mobile device with a camera.

DISASTER SERVICE WORKERAll Contra Costa County employees are designated Disaster Service Workers through state and local law.
