Description

The City of Irvine seeks a compassionate individual to join the Health and Wellness Team in the City Manager's Office as a Management Analyst I/II. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience serving the unhoused population and a deep understanding of the needs of these families.

Reporting to the Health and Wellness Administrator, the Management Analyst I/II will be responsible for coordinating programs and services for participants. The Management Analyst I/II will utilize resource databases, develop systems and programs, and assist with the department's administrative tasks. Additionally, the Management Analyst I/II will help oversee the expansion of resources and services provided by the Health and Wellness team.

The City Manager's Office manages the activities and operations of the City, ensuring the provision of exceptional quality services. As a Council-Manager form of government, the City Manager's Office is responsible for the implementation of policy decisions established by the Irvine City Council. The City Manager's Office includes legislative support, budget development and strategic planning, economic development, social services, and legal service functions of the City.

The Process

The selection process will include an examination and a background investigation prior to appointment. This recruitment may establish an eligibility list to fill future positions in similar and/or lower classifications within the organization.
Certain City budgets may not include funding for mandated CalPERS employer contributions. A qualified candidate who is a current member of CalPERS may be restricted from temporary/part-time employment.
