Wage Agency Instructor - Cooperative Agreement - NERRTC

Part-Time (Temporary/Casual) Position

Telecommuter

$45.00/hour

The Wage Agency Instructor is responsible for instructing and facilitating crisis management-related training courses for the Cooperative Agreement program in a challenging adult learning environment. Utilizes knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success and ensure the overall effectiveness of the course instruction. This position will perform online and classroom instruction and field-based skills training and may provide technical assistance in a specialty area. Maintains skills and a current knowledge base to meet current and future instructional requirements and adapt course curriculum, when necessary, to meet learner needs. Uses a variety of media to present course material, assists with developing new and updated curriculum content as required, and aids in quality control of part-time instructors to include maintenance of records, reports, and documentation of activities during each course or exercise delivery.

This positionreports to the Agency Training Manager and offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in emergency management and adult education.
