Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Equivalent Experience: - Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field related to the job, plus three (3) years of experience in a field related to the job.
- Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.

Notes to Applicants: - The position will focus solely on network implementation, continuous quality improvement, evaluation, and sustainability of the Home Grown Building Comprehensive Network for Home-Based Childcare. The primary duties in this position will include, but are not limited to:
- Recruit home-based childcare providers to the network
- Serve as staff liaison to the childcare provider advisory committee
- Plan meetings with network hub partner organizations
- Lead grant program evaluation (in partnership with the Erickson Institute)
- Coordinate special events, health services education, workshops, trainings
- Create a peer mentoring program and provide mentoring and referral to network members
- Refer childcare providers to community resources and create a system for resource sharing
- Connect childcare providers with curricula options
Pay Range
$24.89 - $29.18
Hours
Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with some night and weekends as needed

- Past experience operating a home-based childcare program or coaching early childhood professionals
- Knowledge of key issues that affect the early care and education workforce, particularly home-based childcare
- Demonstrated strong, effective, and clear written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading meetings
- Demonstrated experience drafting and delivering public presentations to audiences of different types
- Skills in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to speak, write and read Spanish
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Develop and implement a variety of programs, projects and activities. Coordinate with existing organizations to address community economic or social service needs. Conduct needs assessments and meets with community residents, leaders and community groups to identify needs and available resources. Collaborate with other organizations to plan and develop programs and activities or improve coordination of existing services. Research funding sources, develop short and long range plans, and compile informational reports. Serve as City representative before community groups, businesses and/or the media. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers. Assists in the development and monitoring of project and/or program budgets Assists in the development of short/long range plans Assists in the development and implementation of operating policies and Procedures Ensures compliance with city and other regulatory agency requirements and policies
