Architecture Intern (SUNY Climate Corps/PRA 4-6)

Duties Description

Duration: June - August 2025 (flexible start & end date)
Hours: 10 to 20 hours/week, minimum 10 hours required

Overview
• Work alongside with Registered Architect, Landscape Architects, and Engineers
• In office and construction site experience on large multiple trade projects as well as small in-house renovations
• Construction inspection and documentation assistance
• No 2 days are the same at Parks

Job Duties
• Revit and AutoCAD drafting assistance
• Construction inspection and documentation assistance
• Travel in state vehicle to local parks

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications
-Current undergraduate or graduate SUNY student, pursuing a degree in Architecture.
-Everyday use of Interpersonal Skills: with co-workers, consultants, contractors and patrons
-Critical Thinking, Creativity: Assist in solving complex design/construction issues ---Time Management

• Able to use the following programs, Revit, AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel
• Ideally a candidate should have a valid driver’s license.
