CYMPO is seeking a dynamic and experienced Transit Operations Manager to join our team!

This role will provide leadership, vision, and operational oversight for the development and management of a regional transit system serving the Prescott Valley-Prescott urbanized area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transit operations, contract and budget management, and public transportation planning. This position requires strategic thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with local jurisdictions, community partners, and funding agencies.

Major Duties, Responsibilities



Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Urban/Rural Planning, Transportation Planning, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:
A minimum of five years progressively responsible experience in public transit programs and/or project management.

An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis.

Additional Requirements:

Must have and maintain a valid AZ Driver’s License.
