Pay Range: $71,661 - $93,159 annual compensation

A PID Administrator position is available with the City of Fort Worth FWLab Department, Revenue and Special Districts Division. The FWLab is an initiative commissioned by previous City Manager David Cooke in February 2023 in support of Fort Worth's organizational values and to make government better. The work undertaken by the FWLab advances the City's Vision to " be the most livable and best managed city in the country " through building organizational capacity to explore, analyze and learn from data that is discoverable via existing and new municipal system and components. Specific systems or components of the FWLab include priority-based budgeting, data analytics and management, comprehensive planning, strategic infrastructure planning, bond program coordination, operational assessments/internal consulting, strategic foresight or futurist studies, departmental strategic planning (FWStat) and Lean Six Sigma. The Revenue and Special District division of the FWLab is the newest addition to the department and will oversee long-range revenue forecasting and administration of the City’s PIDs, TIFs, and 380 agreements.

The PID Administrator position will need a driven relationship, detail-oriented, and analytical person to oversee both capital and operating Public Improvement Districts (PIDs). This role will manage the financial administration, compliance, and project coordination for PIDs, serving as a key liaison between City departments, PID management companies, property owners, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial oversight, contract compliance, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement. The ability to analyze and manage financial transactions, coordinate capital improvement funding, and oversee operating budgets is essential. A high level of emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and problem-solving ability is required to successfully navigate complex relationships with PID boards, City leadership, and external partners.
