Minimum Salary $51,122

Job Location: Division of Professional Registration, Real Estate Commission. Occasional travel will generally be day travel with some travel, including overnight.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct investigations of suspected violations and or incidents related to administrative law.

• Collect, assemble, and preserve facts, statements, affidavits for use in legal actions.

• Prepare and review detailed reports of investigative findings.

• Serve subpoenas.

• Testify in criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings.

• Review criminal backgrounds for licensure and renewal applications.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

• Two or more years of civil, administrative or criminal investigative experience, or experience as a law enforcement officer; and graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in criminal justice, law enforcement, criminology, business administration, social sciences or closely related area. (Qualifying experience will substitute for deficiencies in education.); or

• One or more years of experience as a Non-Commissioned Investigator.

• Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

• Must possess a valid Missouri driver license.

• Must be able to complete and pass the Real Estate Salesperson Course and examination within six months.

Lack of post - secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement experience with an emphasis in investigations.

• Ability to prepare clear, organized and detailed reports of investigative findings.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

• Ability to travel within the state.
