Description

Job Location: This position will be domiciled in Adair, Knox, Macon, or Shelby counties. Applicants must live in one of the listed counties, or be willing to relocate (adjacent counties will be considered on a case-by-case basis)

The Pesticide Program regulates the sale and use of pesticides in Missouri. As a Pesticide Use Investigator, you would be responsible for managing an area of the state and inspecting licensed pesticide applicators and dealers, verifying pesticides sold in the state are registered, and performing inspections and complaint driven investigations to determine compliance with the Missouri Pesticide Use Act and the Missouri Pesticide Registration Act.



Minimum Qualifications:



Post-secondary degree with emphasis in Agriculture, plant or soil sciences, horticulture or biology will count toward experience.

Preferred Qualifications:



Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
