In this position you will implement projects, policies, and initiatives that positively impact postsecondary attainment and holistic student well-being in the state of Missouri. The individual in this role will facilitate projects that promote positive educational outcomes, including in the areas of student transfer, re-engagement, completion, education-to-workforce, lifelong learning, and student basic needs; develop project plans and proposals; lead teams of internal and external stakeholders through project completion; and achieve measures of success that contribute to the department’s strategic plan .

• Work with minimal direction to research, develop, and implement postsecondary initiatives to meet the department’s strategic goals;
• Represent and/or serve as a liaison for the Strategic Initiatives & Projects team , including maintain ing relationships and cooperat ing with federal, state, local, and community organizations, and other interested groups;
• Ensure the timely progression of postsecondary project plans including developing goals, objectives, project scope, benchmarks, timelines, resources, and metrics of success;
• Manage successful project teams, made up of internal and external members, through complete project lifecycle;
• Plan large gatherings of stakeholders, either virtually or in-person, to share best practices, highlight successes, and facilitate information sharing;
• Research state policies and develop postsecondary policy recommendations
• Utilize data to measure success/outcomes and report findings
• Perform other related work as assigned.
• Beneficial education and/or professional experience in project management, educational policy, student services, data analysis, or process and continuous improvement, including military service.
• Preferred: Familiarity with postsecondary education research, policy, practice, and/or technology.
