Description
The Missouri Department of Mental Health Investigations Unit seeks an
Administrative Support Professional domiciled in Jefferson City, Missouri. This position is in a fast-paced environment and requires heightened attention to detail over a diverse range of tasks.
• Process finalization of confidential investigative reports for multiple offices across the state.
• Input and extract investigation-related data through various computer-based applications.
• Respond to, log, and track investigative records requests.
• Respond in a professional and ethical manner to all inquiries related to investigations.
• Assist with new employee orientation, meeting arrangements, and training.
• Assist with the development of internal procedures related to support staff duties and serve as a team lead for other support staff in the unit.
• Maintain and archive electronic investigative files.
SKILLS: • Ability to make decisions and carry out assigned responsibilities with considerable independence and in an efficient manner.
• Applicant must be dependable and a team player.
• Professional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and data management skills including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel; knowledge of Box, Tableau, SharePoint, and Adobe is desired.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to proofread final reports with a strong attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS: Four to six years of relevant experience
or a Bachelor’s degree.
