Description

Performs professional information technology (IT) duties supporting the planning, administration, and oversight of programs and activities of the City’s IT Infrastructure Services Division, including supervising technical staff who maintain the City's computer infrastructure and support end-users.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications may be met via an equivalent combination of experience and education sufficient to perform the essential job functions. Experience and education must provide the listed knowledge, skills, and abilities.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Experience: Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience managing an IT infrastructure in a medium to large-organization, including at least one (1) year in a supervisor or lead capacity.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, public administration, business administration, or related field.

Oral Interview Examination (Tentatively scheduled for July 30, 2025) : (Weight of 100%) will evaluate the candidates' experience, training, education, and abilities in relation to those factors which are essential for successful performance on the job. Candidates need a minimum passing score in order to be placed on the eligible list.
