Description
Water Operations & Maintenance Technician I - (Grade 14) - Starting Hourly Rate: $19.95. Rate of pay depends on qualifications.Water Operations & Maintenance Technician II - (Grade 16) - Starting Hourly Rate: $21.90. Rate of pay depends on qualifications.
Water Operations & Maintenance Technician III - (Grade 17) - Starting Hourly Rate: $23.40. Rate of pay depends on qualifications.
Senior Water Operations & Maintenance Technician - (Grade 18) - Starting Hourly Rate: $26.46. Rate of pay depends on qualifications.
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Water Operations & Maintenance Technician I position is an entry level position responsible for monitoring equipment, operating equipment, recording data, collecting samples, and system process control, in compliance with regulatory agency guidelines.
The Water Operations & Maintenance Technician II is an entry to intermediate level position responsible for monitoring equipment, operating equipment, recording data, collecting samples, and system process control in compliance with regulatory agency guidelines.
The Water Operations & Maintenance Technician III is an intermediate to advanced level position responsible for monitoring equipment, operating equipment, recording data, collecting samples, and system process control in compliance with regulatory agency guidelines.
The Senior Water Operations & Maintenance Technician supervises a crew responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and operating one of the San Antonio Water System’s two Water Operations & Maintenance Centers within H2Oaks and Agua Vista, ensuring compliance with regulatory agency guidelines.
