This is an at-will executive management classification recommended by the County Executive and subject to appointment by the Board of Supervisors. The position will report to an Assistant County Executive and provides leadership, strategic vision, administrative oversight and policy direction to the various divisions and organizational units of DPW. The ideal candidate is a proven change agent and visionary leader with an ability to modernize systems, processes, and procedures to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic department.
The annual salary range is $260,781 to $287,496; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience. The County of Marin also offers a competitive, full benefits package.
