As the CAU Manager, you will have the opportunity to build for a stronger tomorrow by applying your diverse background, education, and work experiences to a variety of unique construction projects while mentoring a team of high-caliber talent. You will oversee and coordinate a team of Construction Project Specialists and Construction Project Technicians responsible for the administration of new construction, remodeling, and maintenance and repair projects statewide for state agencies, using a variety of delivery methods such as design-bid-build, design-build, or Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). This position is with the Office of Administration Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction (OA-FMDC) leading the Construction Administration Unit within the Design and Construction Team. OA-FMDC is committed to strengthening the State’s investments while providing a safe and secure environment through innovative design solutions and excellent customer service.

If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. *This position is physically demanding. Examples of job duties may include prolonged periods of walking/standing/sitting/bending/driving, climbing ladders, ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, working in inclement weather and working on uneven or elevated surfaces. Please note, this position is considered a “Category 0” under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning the incumbent will not normally receive overtime compensation except in unusual circumstances as determined by appointing authorities.
