Wake County Public Libraries is looking for a dedicated full-time
Youth Services Library Assistantwho loves working with the public!


Full-time Library Assistants in a Youth Services Department balance their time working on busy service desks with providing operational and programming support. Library Assistants provide reference, readers’ advisory and basic technology assistance to members, and support youth programming under the direction of a Librarian. "> ">Key Responsibilities:

Schedule:
Monday- 8:05 AM-5:05 PM
Tuesday- 8:05 AM-5:05 PM
Wednesday- 12:05-9:05 PM
Thursday- 8:05 AM-5:05 PM
Friday- 9:05 AM-6:05 PM
Every 4th weekend: Saturday 8:05 AM-5:05 PM and Sunday 8:05 AM-5:05 PM

Emergency Service Worker Statement

In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected.
