Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm; Some evening/weekend work required. This is an in-person position with ability to work a hybrid schedule following completion of the probationary period.

A Neighborhood Program Coordinator is available with the City of Fort Worth Neighborhood Services Neighborhood Improvement Program. This program aims to enhance quality of life and public safety through targeted capital investments, infrastructure upgrades, and neighborhood capacity-building, primarily in underserved communities. These programs are yearly initiatives focused on improving aesthetics, safety, and economic vitality through specific projects and community engagement. This is a full-time temporary position approved based upon federal grant funding availability.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions.

Sedentary Work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
