Administrative Specialist

Purpose:

Under limited supervision, using independent discretion and judgment, works within a specialized function or a specific area of administrative and staff support.

The Administrative Specialist in the Office of the Fire Chief supports daily operations at Austin Fire Headquarters by providing essential administrative and logistical services. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage sensitive tasks with discretion and meet tight deadlines.

Salary Range: $24.08 - $27.93

Location: 1501 S Mopac Expressway, Austin, TX 78746Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM [Hours may vary due to operational needs]

Telework: Telework is not offered for this position.
