Deschutes County Health Services supports over 400 staff in Behavioral and Public Health programs working to promote and protect the health and safety of the community in a broad variety of community-based settings.
Deschutes County Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Program is the Community Developmental Disabilities Program (CDDP) providing case management and other IDD-related services for Deschutes County. ABOUT THE JOB:

The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Supervisor works in coordination with the assigned manager to supervise the operations of the IDD program. The ability to apply extensive subject matter knowledge related to administration of IDD services in group homes and foster homes is a requirement of this position. The incumbent may also be assigned direct supervision of other personnel based on specialized areas of subject matter expertise.
This position functions as a key component of the department's leadership team. The incumbent reports directly to the Program Manager and requires collaboration with Behavioral Health Program Managers and Supervisors; Health Services compliance, billing, and fiscal staff; local provider agency administrative staff; and state program staff.

The incumbent will need to possess effective interpersonal, technical, and project management skills; and an understanding of supervision best practices and knowledge of related personnel laws. Incumbent will supervise a team of approximately seven Services Coordinators on the “comprehensive services” team.

The position requires continuous responsibility for a team that provides services that span coverage from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., primarily based out of Bend and Redmond, but also remotely and throughout the County.

Compensation

$7,298.09 to $9,780.12 per month for a 172.67 hour work month. Excellent County benefit package when eligible. This position is available immediately.

The employment offer will be contingent upon pre-employment screening for criminal history and controlled substances (NOTE: Positive test results for marijuana use may result in rescission of a contingent offer of employment). Must meet provider Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credentialing requirements as required by Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) 309-019-0125 (8).
