MPP employees serve at the pleasure of the campus President. MPPs do not serve a probationary period and never receive permanent status.

Position Salary Range: $6,200 - $9,300 per month

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $6,700 - $7,700 per month.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Interim Assistant Dean of Students, The Program Director of the Male Success Alliance (MSA) provides visionary leadership, strategic oversight, and culturally affirming programming to improve educational equity and eliminate opportunity gaps for self-identified men of color. The Program Director is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive success initiative that promotes belonging, identity development, academic achievement, a sense of brotherhood and post-graduate readiness for historically underrepresented men.

This position plays a critical role in advancing CSUDH’s strategic equity goals and student success Initiatives by developing responsive and data-informed approaches to student persistence, retention, and completion. The Program Director will maintain and establish new relationships with regional and national partners, conducting assessment and research projects, and providing holistic student development programs and services for the MSA student organization. The Program Director supervises professional and student staff, manages programming and operations, engages in strategic planning, and cultivates meaningful campus and community partnerships that uplift men of color and enhance campus climate .
