A Sr. Capital Project Officer role is available with the City of Fort Worth's Development Services Department to administer the Transportation Impact Fee Program. The Fort Worth Transportation Impact Fee Program is of great significance to the City and is the largest program of its kind in the State with 19 active service areas. The program represents a budget of over $200M in collected fees used to construct capital transportation projects such as arterials, intersections, and signals in conjunction with high profile projects throughout the City. The City is seeking a seasoned professional who can review building permits, traffic impact assessments, annexations, plats, and site plans to determine traffic land use classifications; manage fee assessment, expenditures, refunds, discounts, credits, exemptions, and account reconciliations; prepare and execute public-private-partnerships and credit agreements; evaluate appeals; apply the governing City Ordinance in accordance with State Law; and identify and prepare ordinance updates when required. This role also leads a team of two and often presents the program's features and benefits to City leadership, City staff, the public, and the development community. The position is the administrator for the Capital Improvement Advisory Committee appointed by the City Council to oversee the program. Responsibilities to the committee include the preparation of bi-annual reports and the presentation of the report's findings to the committee.
