Job Description:

Purpose:

Under general supervision, performs work of a complex nature, including installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, industrial and/or commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems in City facilities.

The Heating and Refrigeration Mechanic III will perform advanced, senior-level tasks in the maintenance and repair of HVAC and indoor air quality systems in Austin Public Library facilities. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a high level of technical expertise. The individual may have leadership responsibilities for special projects, as well as monitor and maintain HVAC networks to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Work Location :

All Austin Public Library Locations (Austin, Texas)

Salary Range :

$27.77 to 33.95

Hours and Schedule :

Full Time/40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
