The Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer plays a key role in ensuring the safety and security of City facilities. This position is responsible for monitoring access control systems, CCTV, and alarms, responding to incidents, and serving as the central point of contact during each shift. The SOC Officer coordinates with law enforcement, dispatches response teams, documents incidents, and provides guidance and training to security personnel. Ideal candidates will have experience in security monitoring, incident management, and customer service, with the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations and emergency events.

- Potential Shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM/ 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM/ 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Shifts may include 1-2 weekend days
- Work hours may include after-hours, holidays, and overtime may be required with or without notice.
- Work shift may change according to departmental business needs.
- This position may require on-call or call-back responsibilities.

Salary Range $25.22 - $31.18/hour

Job Description:

Purpose:

This position monitors a variety of security technologies including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems to provide security services for all properties and act as shift point of contact by providing training, technical guidance, or support during security-related incidents.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, plus two (2) years of experience providing security services in Security Operation Center.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

Valid Texas Class C Driver License
