Operational Program Compliance
Support the Program Manager in managing housing programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and timely goal achievement.
Conduct research and analysis to contribute to housing plans and policy development, including Fair Housing Initiatives.
Lead meetings with stakeholders and the public, offering guidance and responding to program-related inquiries.
Act as a liaison and staff support for the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, as required by statute.
Prepare communications and policy documents.
Grant Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor fiscal and program progress of grant-funded activities, identifying issues and recommending improvements.
Review financial reports and gather required documentation for federal, state, and internal reporting systems.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to collect and compile data for quarterly and annual reports.
Assist with budget adoption and fiscal adjustments using county financial systems and procedures.
Loan Servicing and Administration
Process and review applications for downpayment, repair, rehabilitation, and other loan-based assistance programs.
Evaluate loan applications by analyzing ownership, credit, assets, liabilities, home equity, and property appraisals.
Review contractor documents and ensure compliance with technical provisions and cost eligibility.
Coordinate with legal, financial, and title professionals to ensure proper documentation and program delivery.
Work Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (no weekends!)
