Description

Under general direction, the Emergency Department Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing rapid and high-quality nursing care to patients and to the community within the Santa Paula Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive timely and effective care. With a keen ability to remain calm under pressure and a commitment to ongoing education and training, emergency department nurses ensure that patients receive the critical attention they need while navigating complex medical emergencies with skill and compassion.

Distinguishing Characteristics
The Per Diem Nurse is distinguished from the Registered Nurse classification in that Per Diem Nurses are scheduled to work on an as-needed basis (intermittent) to supplement staffing needs.

The eligible list established from this recruitment will be used to fill current and future Intermittent vacancies. There is currently one (1) Intermittent vacancy in Emergency Services at Santa Paula Hospital.
