Description

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Provide administrative management and oversight of the HCY and MFAW Programs to ensure compliance with State and Federal requirements.
- Provide nursing consultation and programmatic guidance to regional office staff, including Regional Coordinators and RN Service Coordinators, who work with program participants, family members, and provider agencies located throughout the state.
- Participate in extensive collaboration with the Missouri Department of Social Services, MO HealthNet Division; Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities; as well as other DHSS staff, managers, and leadership.
- Conduct quarterly and annual participant record reviews to ensure consistent and accurate application of program policies and guidelines.
- Complete Medicaid waiver applications, amendments, and reports as required by MO HealthNet Division and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Minimum Qualifications: - Candidates must hold a current Missouri Registered Nurse license and have 2-4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Candidates must have supervisory nursing experience and extensive clinical knowledge related to state programs and medical services for children and adults with special health care needs and disabilities.
- Experience in service coordination/case management, home care/home health, and pediatrics is preferred.
- Experience in quality improvement and assurance is preferred.
- Attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work closely and collaboratively with SHCN staff, providers, and internal and external stakeholders are strong qualifications for this position.
- A positive attitude, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and computer literacy, are also important qualifications for this role.
