POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
The Lead Service Worker plays a key role in supporting Supervisors and Managers by helping to plan, delegate, and oversee the work of Service Worker teams. This position is responsible for executing facility services specifications for meeting and convention space setups, ensuring all arrangements meet high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer service. The Lead Service Worker serves as a central point of communication, providing regular updates to supervisors on task progress and team performance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

This position is expected to maintain a consistent commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. The individual is expected to be proactive in assisting others and to foster positive interactions with customers, building partners, and various internal departments. As a team player, this individual must work collaboratively with fellow Ambassadors to consistently exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high-performing, service-oriented environment.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS
At the LVCVA, safety is everyone’s job. Executives and managers are expected to ensure safe work and a safe working environment through guidance and leadership for Ambassadors and contractors to include assessing and eliminating workplace hazards. Further expectations include ensuring compliance with and demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of established rules, policies, procedures and regulations. Management is also expected to provide tools necessary for achieving safety to include time and budget.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Ambassador to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

The individual in this position must be able to possess the physical mobility to perform all related duties, including using desktop computers and operating both hand tools and power equipment. The role requires the stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, the strength to occasionally lift or maneuver up to 100 pounds, frequently up to 75 pounds, and regularly up to 25 pounds. The individual must also have the dexterity to reach, kneel, crouch, and climb, along with the visual ability to read printed materials and the communication skills to interact effectively in person, over the phone, or via two-way radio.

The position also requires the physical capability to transport supplies and equipment to designated areas. The individual must be able to perform tasks in crowded environments and safely operate various types of equipment, including electric carts, ride-on sweepers/scrubbers, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, aerial lifts, carpet extractors, handheld blowers, pressure washers, and floor care machines.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the Ambassador may be exposed to varying climate conditions and required to work at heights or in other potentially precarious environments.

BARGAINING BENEFITS

Total compensation at the Authority consists not only of the salary paid, but also of the various benefits offered, such as group health and life insurance and retirement plan. Depending on the type of insurance selected, adding these benefits increases an employee's total compensation from between 30 to 40 percent.
