Public Health Program Coordinator (Quality)

Purpose

Under general direction or working independently, administer and coordinate activities of an assigned public health and/or human services program area.

Position Overview

The purpose of this position is to provide direct program coordination and support to the HIV Resources Administration (HRA) program, ensuring that quality, timely, and cost-effective social and medical services are accessible to eligible individuals to help maintain or improve their quality of life. Key responsibilities include supporting the development and execution of program activities and continuous quality improvement efforts for HIV services in the community, in alignment with strategies recommended by the Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau (HRSA/HAB). The Program Coordinator assists the Program Manager and Funding Specialists in preparing progress reports related to contractor performance, workplans, and special initiatives. This role also provides direct support to the Austin Area Comprehensive HIV Planning Council by collaborating with relevant committees. Additional duties include helping to draft and maintain provider policies and procedures and supporting the rollout of service delivery improvements under the guidance of the Program Manager. The coordinator ensures that all activities are aligned with HRSA/HAB guidelines and requirements.

Min $57,970 - Mid $70,720 Annually

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eligible for Hybrid Schedule
