Job Description:

Deputy Director, Austin Convention Center

Purpose:

Under general direction of the Director, exercises independent judgment and is responsible for the general management, event/exhibitor operations, sales/marketing, IT services, Finance/Purchasing and Community Services of the City's public event and parking facilities.

The next Deputy Director of Austin Convention Center will have experience with large-scale complex capital projects, taxing district administration, and revenue strategy.

The salary is commensurate with experience and the approved salary range.
