HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

Our team focuses on processing business tax returns and documents in a timely manner. We are team oriented, goal driven and value strong communication and typing skills, as well as a problem-solving experience. You will gain satisfaction from assisting Missouri's taxpayer for business registration along with payments and individual income tax payments.

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

• Review applications to create Missouri Tax Identification numbers
• Complete data entry tasks to input tax return figures and taxpayer information
• Research and correct business tax returns to ensure timely processing
• Correspond with both internal and external customers about tax processing
• Assist taxpayers with filing issues and promote electronic filing options, via phone and e-mail correspondence

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate
• Six or more months of experience in clerical or general office support work

Salary:

$34,999.68 per Year
