Position DescriptionThis position is on-site hybrid (Tues-Thursday) in Lubbock, TX, with full-time remote option for highly qualified candidates.Under the direction of the Senior Director of Classification and Compensation, the Compensation Analyst candidate will ensure institutional pay practices align within established TTUHSC pay protocols and regulatory guidelines. This role will partner with key stakeholders, review pay transactions, build out compensation databases, assist in job evaluations and large-scale projects that will have an institution-wide impact.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and take on new challenges, and must be detail-oriented and capable of upholding the integrity of data storage and the consistency in protocols.
Major/Essential Functions- Review and process salary classification and compensation-based tickets.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data in support of C&C initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and alignment across multiple applications and platforms.
- Assist in the design and development of dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure fair and competitive pay, upholds compliance with federal and state pay regulations/standrds and ensures alignment with institutional strategies and policies.
- Continuously seek to improve skills and stay current on industry best pay practices through webinars, training, and weekly 1:1 meeting with the Senior Director.
- Be a contributing strategic partner in an innovative team environment.
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma, or equivalent, is required. 4+ years of human resources experience or a combination of higher education and relevant work experience.
