Description

Overview

This position supports the Public Works Department including but not limited to all programs associated with the Rapid Pavement Program (RPP), and all unplanned or miscellaneous work. This position will perform entry level engineering work and will be responsible for engineering work related to design computations, engineering calculations for plan quantities, plan preparation, and engineering related duties in the field.

Responsibilities

o Collect, analyze and interpret data to develop engineering solutions define scope

o Performs engineering calculations to develop estimates

o Develops and prepares plans and specifications

o Applies engineering principles, construction practices and problem solving

o Interprets and applies related local ordinances/specifications/standards, as we state and federal regulations/guidelines to engineering projects
