The Team Manager IV (Desert Operations Control Center) is responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day, hands-on, operations of the Colorado River Aqueduct (CRA) conveyance system, power transmission system, and the staff that provide up to 24-hour operation of the associated systems.

The Incentive Pay program will be setup to provide a Desert Branch Assignment Premium to qualifying employees as follows:


Schedule: 4/10. Monday through Thursday and/or Tuesday through Friday: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Travel: This position will require travel to various District facilities throughout the service area, sometimes requiring overnight stay in the project area.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience equaling 8 years of increasingly responsible experience, of which 3 years must have been in a project management, supervisory or lead position. An example of a combination of education and experience would be:

A high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate and 8 years of increasingly responsible experience, of which 3 years must have been in a project management, supervisory or lead position; OR

An associate’s degree from an accredited college or technical school and 6 years of increasingly responsible experience, of which 3 years must have been a project management, supervisory or lead position; OR

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of increasingly responsible experience, of which 3 years must have been in a project management, supervisory or lead position.

Increasingly Responsible (Relevant) Experience is defined as: Experience operating, maintaining, and assessing mechanical systems OR similar large industrial equipment in facilities such as water treatment, water distribution, power, petroleum, or waste treatment.
