Job Summary

The City of Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is seeking candidates for the Facility Attendant position at Jaycee Park Center for Arts & Crafts. This position will assist with organizing and conducting various recreation activities and events.

Minimum Age : 18 years old, at the time of application.
Terms: Year-Round
Hours: Varies between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. This position will be 4 - 20 hours per week.

Examples of Duties

• Answers telephone, provides the public with needed information;
• Processes program registration and facility reservations;
• Responsible for completing routine facility maintenance and housekeeping;
• Collects fees, payments, and makes deposits; and
• Assists in the preparation of publicity materials and promoting events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience in a recreational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge or the ability to maintain art or pottery equipment properly preferred.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to utilize registration software.
• First Aid and CPR Certifications are required within 60 days of hire.

Special Requirements

• Must have the ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Must possess a valid driver's license issued by N.C. or another state

Regular part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees are not eligible for benefits.
